Yes. For campus-type networks, UniFi can scale to around 5,000 devices per site across hundreds of locations. Of course, every environment is different, so we will advise you on whether or not UniFi is a good fit for your network.
Do you have experience with other UniFi Products?
Yes, our team has expertise with UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, UniFi Talk, UniFi Connect, and UniFi Identity.More importantly, our expertise in IT is broad enough to incorporate these solutions into your existing IT ecosystem.
Can you assist me with Active Directory or other areas in IT?
Yes, while our core expertise is networking; networking touches every corner of IT. Whether you need to change the IP scheme of the network that your Active Directory server resides on, or you would like to upgrade your server infrastructure, we can assist you with that.
Is Unified IT, a subsidiary of Ubiquity?
No, we are an independent business that specializes in the design and deployment of Ubiquiti networking solutions, along with other services we offer. Although we are not owned by Ubiquiti, we maintain a relationship with them and provide direct feedback to their product team. How much do you chrage?
The nature of engineering work means that costs can vary depending on the scale and complexity of your project. We will either quote you for an entire project or you can purchase a block of hours. Our hourly rate is $225 per hour per engineer, and you can purchase hours in increments as small as 2-hour blocks.
Do engineering hours expire?
Yes, after one year.
How much do you charge to come on-site?
Our on-site day rate is quite affordable. We charge $1,500 per day per engineer plus travel expenses. For most projects, we typically send one engineer. If we need to loop in a second engineer remotely, that is billed at our standard hourly rate of $225 per hour.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes, we offer a service called Network+ that includes comprehensive remote network monitoring and management, along with engineering-level support. Depending on your specific needs, we can provide the service with or without a service level agreement, ensuring rapid response to your priority 1 critical issues.
